About Seymour, Tennessee

This small community is located between Knoxville and Sevierville, and is home to many who work in Knoxville but want to live in a quiet rural setting with easy access to the activity of Gatlinburg. There are permanent homes, rental properties, and investment properties available in this town close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Homes with acreage are abundant in this area and may represent good investment potential.

Seymour is a well-developed unincorporated community located between Sevierville and Knoxville and most accessible through Chapman Highway. Although unincorporated and officially being part of Sevierville’s incorporation, Seymour is considerably larger than other unincorporated communities near the East Tennessee Smoky Mountains and is, in some ways, bigger than the city of Sevierville itself. Interestingly, Seymour actually spans three counties – it begins in Sevier County, ends in Knox County, and has a small section of the middle in Blount County. Seymour has its own schools, many restaurants, many churches and stores, and many opportunities in general.
